New Seven Wonder Of Nature

Tujuh keajaiban alam merupakan sebuah inisiatif yang berawal pada tahun 2007 guna membuat daftar tujuh keajaiban alam dunia yang dipilih oleh masyarakat luas melalui pemilihan global. Proposal ini dipimpin oleh warga Kanada-Swiss Bernard Weber dan diatur oleh New7Wonders Foundation,yang berpusat di Swiss, yayasan dengan pengawasan pemerintah. Kampanye ini menghasilkan Tujuh Keajaiban Dunia Baru, yang menarik perhatian 100 juga pemilih dari seluruh penjuru dunia.

1. Volcanic jeju island

Volcanic Jeju Island is already a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its dormant volcano Hallasan, which is a National Park rich in diverse plants and animals, and the lava tubes through which magma once flowed and which now form an intricate cave system with some of the largest caves in the world. Tourists can take a paddlboat tour to explore one of the caves and more adventurous visitors can go caving, rock climbing in various different locations.

2. Komodo Island

Komodo Island, one of the 17.508 islands that make up Indonesia, is the home of the Komodo Dragon and one of only seven places in the world with beaches of pink sand. It’s National Park, formed in 1980 is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the endangered dragon.

3. Puerto Princesa

Puerto Princesa is known as the longest navigable underground river in the world at 8.2km long and forms part of the Puerto Princesa National Park, which is one of the most important biodiversity conservation areas of the Philippines.

4. the Amazon rainforest

Better-known sights such as the Amazon rainforest, Vietnam’s Halong Bay and Argentina’s Iguazu Falls were also named among the winners, along with South Africa’s Table Mountain.
